Wow, maybe I'm naive but I would think of these as blatant, aggressive racism and not microaggressions. It's so sad that this continues to happen on a daily basis. It's disgusting.

To me, microaggressions are the even more subtle things like working at a job that doesn't care about diversity, knowing you're getting worse work and not being invited to parties, putting up with subtle jokes about your culture, etc. Like the type of racism that is so deep in their bones and in the atmosphere that people think you're crazy if you notice it. We are so far away from fixing any of this. Sigh.
