Two wrongs do not make a right. Two wrongs do not make a right. Two wrongs do not make a right.

I am completely astonished and appalled to see how many people are defending Will Smith's behavior. Even HE is not defending his behavior. Just because Chris Rock told a bad joke does not make hitting him okay. I frankly think Will Smith has handled this better than all of you.

And if you're a fan of consequences, can you honestly say you'd be okay if Will Smith hit a female comedian who made the same inappropriate jokes? Because I notice all the examples you gave are of men. Or would everyone then say hitting a woman is never okay (which would be sexist rubbish)?

And before everyone attacks me, I've been the Jada. Hell, I've even been the Will in this situation. And I can recognize that 1) these "jokes" suck (and I've been told way, way worse) and that 2) people get justifiably angry.

But no one has ever told me it's okay to hit people, nor is it okay. We tell this to kids. It's not okay.
