This sounds really problematic. You can’t assume everyone of an entire race/culture behaves badly or is arrogant. People are extremely diverse within every race and culture. There are good and bad people everywhere. I’m honestly shocked anyone can comfortably paint an entire race with a single brush.

And I don’t like the “we joke because love” line even in personal relationships. Often, it really hurts the person being joked about.
