This. So much this. I’m so sorry your family went through this! And hey, Iranian IS Asian geographically. I wish there were a Middle Eastern option too…or maybe just splitting it by country. The Iranian diaspora community is pretty distinct from the Egyptian, Israel, etc. communities.
