This is very well-written and describes an aspect of the company I had never thought of before. I’ve always found LinkedIn’s article/post curation and feature methods to be incredibly arbitrary and sometimes troublesome, so I and many other content creators have moved off the site. For a while, LinkedIn tried to sell itself as a place to write and publish articles. But they don’t pay for them, they primarily feature people who personally know their staff, and how people gain and retain followers is based on mysterious factors that are not very correlated with original content.
