This is such a "Presidential" list: books and movies largely focused on difficult conversations and topics, many works about race and America (timely subjects of discussion), and a wide spread of popular and indie American music. There is solid gender and racial diversity here as well. If I were going to create a list that sounded like a President would read, watch, or listen to it, it would look much like this.

I wonder if DJT has read a single book this year.

(And I also wonder if maybe President Obama secretly likes a cozy romance or science fiction thrillers, but just didn't include them.)
