This is so completely disgusting and I'm sorry you went through this. I once had to be the "woman who stood up for a Black man's honor" because he was being accused of some bs he didn't do. Several of us were there, I was the only other person of color, and I was the only person who spoke out.

As someone who is in a communitiy where Black men are idolized and fetishized, which is it's own problem, it's always shocking and disturbing to hear the other side--people who think they're too good for Black dates.

It's dangerous too, what with false assault allegations and more. Sigh, it makes my blood boil. We need criminal justice reform. We need better white people.
