Thank you for calling this out. I always get hated when I say that and I wasn’t in a mood to be trolled when I posted that comment, but seriously can we talk about how much white male privilege is showing here? This would/has NEVER worked for me. Trust me, I know. I’ll send far more polite emails and get people “kindly telling me” I think too highly of myself. Can you imagine a Black woman being treated equally to a white man in this situation? Hell no.

And honestly, I’m a bit sick and tired of white male business influencers never talking about tough topics like racial and gender equality just because they’re privileged enough to live in a world of clouds and sunshine.

(Someone privately reached out to me to say I just hate young kids, which fyi, no. I was in law school at 17, thank you very much. So again, I say, it’s not me hating on young success. It’s me hating on unfair advantages of white male young success.)
