Really good take. A lot of people are pressuring me to do WHATEVER it takes to buy a house, including: leaving a highly successful nonprofit to go back to a (frankly boring and/or evil) law firm, just to afford the mortgage.

And honestly, sometimes I take a second to question my decisions to prioritize freedom and do good work, because I'm struggling to find a place <$2000 for a month anywhere in California.
