Many comments below say that I have no right to an opinion because I am neither Black nor Jewish. I think that's a very toxic way to view this conversation and how some of these divides got created in the first place. You can't expect anyone to learn if they're not allowed to speak about issues and fear losing their livelihoods if they do. (This is especially true if there isn't an easy way to educate yourself--this isn't a subject with a single, well-researched, "right" answer I can Google.)
But I've been saying for years that the brunt of cancel culture has actually fallen on people of color, not the people we're trying to fight. I wish people would distinguish woke culture (a strong good force, in my opinion) from cancel culture (complex and often harmful).
