I mean, you're actually kind of preaching to the choir. I agree with you on some level and in my darker moments I will say it is very greedy to want $200K to my friends earning and hoarding that much.
But what I've come to realize in my brighter moments is that saying it's greedy and treating it like it's greedy just dissuade people from doing ANY good at all. I'm trying to convince people to be effective altruists, so I try not to go down the "do you really need a Louis Vitton bag?" route.
