I don’t personally have a preference. If they think “that design is cool, I want it on a bikini,” I think more power to them. The whole point of globalization and melting pots is to just see what you like and adapt it. If people learn about it first and only use it “as intended,” we’ll miss a lot of cool adaptations, I think!

I also think it’s different if it’s to be intentionally disrespectful or to mock a religion (such as, “they all pray to cows and have weird elephant gods), but EVEN then, I’m very glad I live in a country were it’s not illegal to joke about anything.
