I can’t wait for our first female, Asian, openly gay, etc. Presidents. I’m definitely inclined to support people who are representative of our country. (I actually just find it astonishing we haven’t had a female President yet. That’s kind of crazy. It’s 2019.)

That being said, I want to support people who are going to protect immigrants, support the economy, and support criminal justice reform. These things all have a huge impact on minorities on the ground and minority rights are really important to me too.

I didn’t say who I’m going to vote for in the Democratic primaries because it’s not the point of the article. But it’s not a white man.
