I agree that baby geniuses are rarely the biggest of the big, partly because everyone is rarely the 1%. I don’t think baby geniuses are overrepresented in that 1%, but I don’t think they are underrepresented either.

One thing I do wonder is if geniuses are likelier to be polymaths…which means we’re likelier to get distracted and be less successful at any one thing. But that also has cool upsides.
