But would you have said "Asian girl" about an Indian woman? Or by Asian, do you mean "looks East Asian"? We might want another word for that then.

And also, in general, I don't get why people identify people by race. Did she not have identifying clothes or other features? A name? As an Asian woman, it is really hurtful to be called "the Indian woman" or "the Asian woman" in my friend circle instead of something else. I'm not a token for my race.
