Unfortunately, this country was a lot more racist than I expected or thought and I wonder whether a lot of us had just intentionally ignored and ostracized that side for so long we didn’t realize how many of them existed and felt bullied by us. (It’s wrong and I don’t excuse it. I cannot tolerate Trump supporters. But we need to figure out some way to prevent it happening again WITHOUT stopping to fight for justice.)
