Also, to add to my prior contention, the reason I don't bias myself to well-written pitches is because as a writer, the first thing I've learned is "well-written" depends a lot on culture and voice. An authentic pitch from a Black marketer may not sound like this. I get so many pitches on LinkedIn from Indians who clearly don't know how to write like an American. If anything, I'm likelier to help them knowing they're unlikely to get responses from anyone else. When you're trying to help people, you help people, in my opinion. Sorting based on pitch quality risks only covering certain types of people. I've been on both sides of this.
