All culture is not cultural appropriation. Bruno Mars has largely been supported for adapting and being influenced by Black culture, while also crediting it. Other white singers, not so much. Think about when fashion shows have "Black days" or "Black-inspired looks" and then not a single Black model.

I think I give enough examples on why this appropriation is harmful and not just "appreciation." White women have claimed it as their thing, when it's not their thing.
