Airport security is the ONE place where I think it's worse for brown people than Black people; I am ALWAYS stopped, no matter what I'm wearing or how I look. My sister and mom recommended I wear jeans instead of a dress and as revealing clothes as I can (so I look Westernized). It helps some. Maybe I should try pinning my curls up next time; I never even thought of that.

Although all of that notwithstanding, don't travel to Paris. CDG is the most racist airport I've ever been to and Paris is one of the worst cities. There's a reason everyone who loves Paris is white. And Air France is, quite frankly, violently racist and absolute garbage.
